While each downloadable series approaches a different topic, our team looks at the big picture to make sure each series promotes a sense of wonder, discovery and/or passion. Some series will incorporate all three of these experiences, other series will just spotlight one. We have indicated the lens through which each series is written so that, as you schedule out your series, you are able to maintain a healthy balance of the three experiences.

We release 10-12 new series each year, therefore the list of available series continually grows. Given this schedule, we do plan out topics and series a year in advance. Some of these topics may repeat, but they will never look the same. In other words, because we all know that it is important to talk about relationships, there will be more than one series that addresses relationships. However, there are many ways to approach this topic. For example, one series may touch on relationships after looking at the wonder of God, how He has designed us for relationship with Him and how He is the ultimate relationship in our lives. Another series may look at relationships as a means to better understand who we have been created to be (discovery). In a dating relationship context, it may focus on qualities that students ultimately want to find in their future husband or wife and ask them to think about the kind of person they want to be around today. In other words, there are key topics that you will see repeat, but always in a new way. You will never see the same series twice.

While we feel the need to be strategic in addressing the greatest needs and questions facing today’s students, we also know that flexibility is necessary. The creative process sometimes takes us in different directions than we anticipated. As we work though each topic, some of the direction may develop in ways that we never expected. We like to leave room for God to direct our path, and sometimes that means that certain series may move up in the line and others may fall back or be eliminated entirely.
